How to apply.
Outdoor
Apply early morning before the heat of day, or at dusk. Best when air temperature is 80°F or less.
Indoor
Apply when main lights are off. Allow plants to dry thoroughly before lights come back on.
Clones and seedlings
Safe on clones and new starts. Dipping is recommended while they are in cubes and showing roots. Agitate the mix every few minutes when dipping.
Soil drench
Water the soil or grow media first. Apply 1 oz per gallon through the root zone as needed. Always test on a single plant first.
Usage guidelines.
Use as preventative maintenance through pre-flower, dial back through flower, and adjust the mix rate when conditions get tough.
Safe up to harvest
May be used until the day of harvest. Ideally use as preventative maintenance through pre-flower so you can ease off through flower. If needed up to or at harvest day, follow directions for use.
Weekly maintenance
Apply 1 oz per gallon once a week as needed for best results. Test for yourself to observe how your plant variety reacts. Some plants are more sensitive than others.
Boosting strength
Most growers see great results from repeat applications at the standard 1 oz per gallon. For heavier stress events, some prefer to boost the mix to 2 oz per gallon instead.
Repeat as needed
For most situations, more than one application is needed for the product to be effective. Full saturation across leaves and stems is the most powerful way to use it.
Use it as a stand alone.
Our product works best on its own. No wetting agent, no pH adjustment, no extra steps. If you do plan to combine it with anything else, test on a single plant first.
Always test on one plant first.
- When combining with a nutrient product such as a kelp foliar spray, test on one plant first to confirm compatibility.
- When considering any tank mix, run a small trial first. We cannot guarantee efficacy or results when combined with other products.
- Use a single plant trial to learn how long to wait between applications of other products in your routine.
Application equipment.
Use the sprayer that fits your operation. The mix rate stays the same. The technique stays the same.
Half gallon or 1 gallon Hudson
Use a half gallon or one gallon Hudson style sprayer for best results in home gardens and small grows.
Power Hudson style sprayer
For greenhouses and larger outdoor applications, we recommend a power Hudson style sprayer to apply an ample amount of product to all plant surfaces.
Agitate every 5 minutes
When using a Hudson style sprayer, shake or agitate often, approximately every five minutes, to keep the mix consistent.
The best time of day.
Heat is the biggest variable in any application. Spray when the air is cooler and the plants have time to dry. Avoid the middle of the day.
Early morning
Cool air, soft light, plenty of drying time before the heat of day.
Heat of day
Do not spray when temperature is above 80°F. Wait for cooler hours.
Dusk
Temperatures drop, plants get all night to dry. Great for outdoor gardens.
Lights off
For indoor grows, apply when main lights are off. Let plants dry fully before turning lights on.
